Remember the Scholastic Book Fair? The wondrous joy that came with browsing what felt like an endless selection of books with your friends from school. The smell of the paper. The creativity. The imagination. We’re looking to bring a little of that nostalgia to life this August at our Brewery & Taproom.

Join us on Thursday, August 12 for the Wondercraft Book Fair & Artist Market, a celebration of books, art一and beer!

This one-day event brings together local bookshops with some of the area’s most talented artists, bookmarked with our award-winning beer in our community-driven taproom.

Our friends from WNY Book Arts will be on-site to help you screen print your own tote bag. You’ll be able to create a unique keepsake AND enjoy a pint of beer for only $10!

Fill your handy tote bag with an assortment of books and art from a variety of small businesses:

• Straight from the Elmwood Village, you can browse a variety of literature from Talking Leaves…Books;
• Then grab a few comics at the Gutter Pop table, our neighbors from Hertel Ave;
• And check-out an assortment of t-shirts, prints and unique gifts from [Josh] Allentown’s Pine Apple Company.

CBW’S WONDERCRAFT IS IN COLLABORATION WITH THE SUMMER OF BOOKFEST

WNY Book Arts is celebrating their 10th annual Bookfest this year! With the 2021 Summer of Bookfest, Book Arts has expanded their largest annual fundraiser from a one-day celebration into a summer-long series of activity-based events at their downtown gift shop, gallery and creative center.

We’re proud to sponsor Summer of Bookfest by inviting WNY Book Arts to our taproom for this unique brewery experience.

Purchasing a $10 tote + beer ticket will directly help to support Book Art’s mission to preserve the book arts through collaboration, innovation and community programs for all ages.

As always we’ll be serving a variety of fresh, award-winning beer (plus other libations from our full-service bar), and tasty morsels from our everyday food menu (pro tip: get the burger).
