The signs of change are all around us. The days are growing shorter, pumpkin spice is filling the air, and sportsball is on the tv. And so, as we do at this time every year, we must bid farewell to our dear friend Rutherford B. Haze.

Join us on Sunday, September 23 at Hot Mama’s Canteen for the Rutherford Brunch & Jazz Funeral Parade. Start with a fabulous beer brunch pairing, 11a-2p at Hot Mama’s immediately followed by HMC & CBW 2nd Line NOLA funeral parade. We encourage our friends and patrons to participate with us in true New Orleans Jazz Funeral. Our 2nd Line Jazz Funeral will be lead by Brass Pro and the Waterfront Revivalist. If you are a musician and want to join we can get you music info. CBW will provide some swagtastic items. Wear your finest black, bring a bright umbrella and just dance down the street with us. The band will lead in a group song of “When the Saints” feel free to sing! Then Brass Pro will preform for us in front of the bar and inside.

Saying goodbye is never easy, but at least it’ll be fun with great food, drink specials, free swag and live music. RIP RBH.
