Cool Cats Pop-Up at Community Beer Works

Sunday, August 8 is International Cat Day and we think that’s the purrfect day to have some fun with our friends and neighbors. Join us for a special pop-up featuring some truly cool cats!
BEER FROM ONE-EYED CAT!
The feline folks from One-Eyed Cat Brewing are popping up to sling beer and crack jokes. You’ll be able to sample a selection of their beers and even pick up a t-shirt to show your support.
- Award-winning traditional Gose. 4.2% of salty, sour goodness. No fruit, no fuss, just good clean beer-flavored-beer.
- A nice estery Hefeweizen. Banana, clove, refreshing. The OG hazy beer.
- And of course there will be a One-Eyed Cat Secret Stash! Me-ow.
GOODIES FROM BUCKMINSTER’S CAT CAFE!
If you haven’t visited a cat cafe yet you’re truly missing out. We’re spoiled since our friends from Buckminster’s Cat Cafe are right around the corner from our Brewery & Taproom! These very cool cats will be heading over from Niagara Street for a pop-up table complete with merch, coffee and baked goods for sale. Don’t know what a cat cafe is? Come meet our neighbors from Buckminster’s to learn more about the space and how you can adopt cats right from the cafe—and enjoy some CBW while you’re there!
CATS! REAL LIFE CATS IN NEED OF A FOREVER HOME!
Second Chance Sheltering Network is a small but mighty rescue whose volunteers work diligently to transform abandoned and abused cats in the Western New York area into cherished pets, as well as to perform necessary TNVR work in order to help control feral cat populations. Representatives will be on-site with a selection of cats that are ready for adoption! Come on down to meet these actual cool cats, but please be respectful of their caretakers and the directions in place to protect the cats’ physical and emotional welfare.
