Our little West Side brewery that could is turning seven on Saturday, April 20th! That may not seem like a particularly significant milestone, but for us it’s a big one. After spending our first six years brewing on a modest 1.5 barrel system in a garage on Lafayette Ave, we have since upgraded to our shiny new 5,000 square-foot brewery & taproom at 520 7th St on Buffalo’s lower West Side. Amidst an exciting year of growth and new adventures, we missed out on a proper celebration for our sixth rotation around the sun.

What would our 7th Anniversary Party be without a celebration of beer? Lots of beer.

Highly Suspicious Draft & Can Release

An amazingly tropical IPA brewed in collaboration with the good folks at Prison City Pub & Brewery in Auburn, NY. Grilled pineapple plus Citra, El Dorado, and Galaxy hops are showcased atop a mellow malt base resulting in a refreshing and juicy, highly suspicious beer; the perfect IPA to enjoy with a favorite record and your friend Jay.

Highly Suspicious Tropical IPA w/ Pineapple – 16oz 4pk, $16.99 – Limit two 4pks per guest

This is our second year brewing Highly Suspicious with Prison City, but the first time it’ll be available in 16oz 4packs! It will also be available for taproom pints and flights; sorry, no growler or crowler fills.

Seven Ate Nine – 7th Anniversary IPA

What can we say… we brewed our 7th Anniversary beer with 7 hops, 7 malts to an ABV of 7 percent. This IPA is sure to please the heads with notes of dank cannabis, mango and fresh citrus. It’s delicious and we hope you drink all of it.

Seven different hops with a bill of seven different malts, coming in at 7% ABV. Because seven.

Wake & Bake with Live Music by GRAVY – 11AM to 1PM

We’re kicking the day off with Chris Herr and the gang from GRAVY! A virtuosic jazz/funk quartet, GRAVY plays a gelatinous blend of eclectic arrangements spanning sonic space and time. Enjoy the show with a bloody mary or mimosa and food from an abbreviated version of our weekend brunch menu.

Brewery Tours – 12 to 5PM

Have you spent time in our taproom gazing longingly through the glass into the brewery? Well you can be among the first to take public tours of our brewery. We’re offering free tours lead by our brewers, owners, and some guy named Pete we asked to step in!

Afternoon Delights

What the Hops Podcast – 1 to 4 PM

The podcast team behind What the Hops will be recording an interactive episode during the party. They’ll be chatting with employees and may even ask YOU to talk about the beers you’re drinking!

Craft your own commemorative glass in a workshop ran by Locust Street Art. They’ll have plenty of supplies to help you create a unique keepsake.

WNYBAC Live Silkscreening – 5 to 8PM

For only $7 you’ll get a limited-edition design and have the experience of screen-printing your own shirt! Our friends from the Western New York Book Arts Center will be on-hand to help you print.

Balloon Time – 4:30 – 7:30PM

Mr. No the Balloon Guy will be in-house with his unique floor show!

Half Price Pinball – 6 – 8PM

Back to the Future, with More Singing – 8 to 11PM

Invisible Touch is helping us ramp up the party with their totally tubular live band karaoke, 80s style. Sing your favorite songs on stage with a live backing band and be the rockstar you always wanted to be!

As always our bar will be serving core beer favorites, rotating seasonals and small test batches, cider, cocktails and wine. Our kitchen will be serving limited selections from our weekend brunch and evening menus.
