Alex Placito and I love podcasts. We’ve traded suggestions — Harmontown, Welcome to Night Vale — and have occasionally talked about doing one of our own. So, after my pumpkin beer post last month, when he immediately said there should be a Christmas beer sequel, I decided now was the time. He chose three European beers while I stayed in the US, and we each chose four Christmas songs to play snippets of. Then we had some excellent beer, listened to some great music and had a wonderful time. Not a Wonderful Christmastime, because that song is a war crime and singlehandedly undid any good Paul McCartney accomplished with The Beatles, but a wonderful time nonetheless. So please: listen! Let us know what you think. We aren’t going to have episodes regularly, but I quite like the idea of a place to periodically record and post audio.
