Welcome to Community Beer Works — and Buffalo, NY. We’ve been known as The City of Good Neighbors since 1940, and we’re happy to see you’re finally here. The good people who know our town can tell you a few things about what it means to be a Buffalonian. We take pride in our neighbors, our sports, our food, and yes, even our weather. For us, it just works.

We’re known for our rusty resources, but Buffalonians value relationships over all else. In partnership with Slow Roll Buffalo, we support our neighbors getting to know all our neighborhoods together, by bike.

American Pilsner
In Buffalo, we love an underdog almost as much as we love a party. This pilsner is designed for tailgating and celebrating—each other and the game. Let’s Go Pils is your beer for our year.
Tasting notes: Let’s Go Pils is a crisp, dry lager brewed in the German tradition with a twist: a dry hop addition of Hallertau Blanc, which produces a delicate aroma of fresh melon and grapes.
There’s no doubt about it, in Buffalo, we like big portions and even bigger flavors. The Whale is an award-winning brown ale and the perfect pairing for your favorite meal. What’s good beer without good food? We don’t want to know.
