Mike “Mac” McNamara is our head chef with a strong commitment to using the finest locally sourced ingredients in his cooking, including the beer brewed on site at CBW. He’s found a passion for using our award-winning brown ale “The Whale” to craft several of his signature dishes. Mac is also passionate about playing soccer and has been involved in the sport for many years. In addition, Mac is an entrepreneur at heart, having started his first business at the age of 11 by mowing lawns. He has a deep love for the city of Buffalo and takes great pride in being connected to the local community and its food sources. For Mac, cooking is not just a job, it is a way of life, and his dedication to using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients reflects his commitment to delivering the best possible dining experience for CBW’s customers.
Fun Fact: Chef Mac has milked cows, goats, sheep, and pigs, and we think that’s pretty neat!
We’re lucky to have you, Chef Mac!
